  1. Hello there…my husband may be relocating to Singapore int he very near future, and our family-with four children ages 14,10,8 and 5 will be joining him. could you give me any info or put me in touch with someone who could give me some info on the wards? I am particularly interested in the YW groups for my daughter. Thank you! -Lori Scheck

    • Welcome to Singapore, Lori! I will try to get the expat ward bishop’s email address and email you. How long will you be staying here?

    • Lori,

Please check your email! I hope your answers are there.

    • Hey Lori, My husband may also be taking a job in Singapore. We have 7 children ages: 22, 21, 18, 14, 11, 6, 2. Most likely only the younger 5 would come with us. We would not move until our 18 year old graduates. He would not be there very long because he would be serving a mission very soon after. I would be interested in the same information you are looking at. Jennifer

      • How can I help you, Jennifer?

  2. We will know Friday more about the job and whether or not my husband will be taking the job. It looks like we would be in Singapore for at least two years, maybe more. Thank you so much for the info. I will contact the bishop for more info.

    • You are welcome! He is from the bishopic. Really hope to see you and your family in Singapore!

  3. Hi! I wanted to know more of the Mormons.. I am interested to hear the teachings and hopefully be one of your members. I am living in the Toa Payoh area, can you tell me the nearest church I could go to, what time and what should I do first?

    • I am so glad and happy for you. Can I get the missionary to contact you so that you can learn more about the church I am attending? The nearest chapel will be near Newton MRT station at 253 BUkit Timah Road (next to Sarkies Road).Since you stay at Toa Payoh, you might want to join the members of the Toa Payoh Ward who are meeting at 1400 hrs this year on Sundays 2nd level in the Stake Center (front building). Next year, they will meet in the morning at 0900 hrs on 4th level.

      • Thank You so much for the info.. I will be back to the Philippines on the 15th but I’ll be here on January. Hopefully I could visit the ward next year. Is there a filipino group that I can join in?

  4. Thank you for this website! I served a mission in Singapore in 1995-1997. I have lost all my contact information-so it is wonderful to have the internet to look things up. I served in the Ang Mo Kio and Toa Payoh wards (we met in the old Bukit Timah chapel). Anyway- Thanks for posting your testimonies here. I know they are helping others to learn.

    • Glad that you like this website. Hope you can come & visit us in Singapore soon. You can find us at Facebook under LDS Singapore.

  5. Hi, My name is David Kilburn. I lived in Singapore more than 30 years ago when I was a blazer and a deacon. I am visiting Singapore on business from 25 August to 28 August. Sadly, I fly out early on Sunday 29 August and will not have the opportunity to attend Sunday meetings. I would like to get in touch with a few members that I knew in Singapore . I wonder if you could assist me by giving my email address to Jon and Doreen Lim and asking them to contact me. Thank you. Best regards, David
